PLANNED LITTERS

CEREUS X TRAPPER - MID 2024

This litter will be registered with the Tamaskan Dog Register (TDR) and Nederlandse Tamaskan Club (NTC).

Puppies will be raised with a combination of Puppy Culture, Avidog and Pat Hasting's Puppy Puzzle.

Cereus is a 1st generation (G1) Tamaskan from Tamaskan van de Wolvenweide out of their 2019 Kensi x DeeJay litter. DeeJay is a Belgian Groenendael and approved outcross for the Tamaskan Dog breed.

Trapper is an Alaskan Husky who has been approved as an outcross for the Tamaskan Dog breed. He is from distance racing and freight lines.

We do not expect wolf content for this litter so puppies from this litter should be suitable for homes worldwide unless there are laws against wolf-lookalikes. Puppies from this litter will do best in active homes as well as those who want to try a variety of sports and activities. Conformation is also possible as long as puppies are not long coated and are either seal colored (like Cereus) or agouti. Both parents carry the long coat gene. We do not expect puppies to be black & tan colored like Trapper.

In terms of temperament, Trapper is a social, confident, happy-go-lucky boy who is very observant. He thinks before he acts. He is friendly with strangers but not to the point he’ll follow them home. Trapper is very environmentally stable and looks to his humans for direction when he is unsure of how to handle a situation.

Cereus is a low-drive, medium energy dog who is simply happy to go on adventures with her humans. Due to COVID lockdown impacting Cereus’ critical socialization period, she has matured with more sensitivity than we would like to see for the breed. She prefers to interact at her pace. Once she is in a familiar environment, Cereus is a happy, social and confident dog.
